Key Responsibilities:
      
      
      1. Liaison with AVL and Cummins Global Test Support Group to understand, define and create a plan for implementation of the test facility
      2. Become trained in the Cummins MR production test methods and procedures
      3. Be responsible for the system network structure creation and availability required for production test integrated operation
      4. Manage the installation and startup of the production test cells
      5. Establish training requirements for test cell operators and other staff in running and maintaining the test facility, and coordinate the scheduling of necessary training
      6. Establish operational processes and procedures related to the running, reporting, and maintaining of the production engine test area
      7. Calibration schedules:Preventative Maintenance plan,Work flow process,Metrics - utilization, effectiveness and efficiency,Health & Safeties - setting standards, reporting procedures et
      8. Identify the necessary support equipment ( hand tools, power tools, spare parts,..) and lead the effort for their procurement
      
      Qualifications:
      
      
      Skills-Functional/Technical
      
      1. Mechanical Engineer with a strong electrical/controls background
      -Mechanical test Equipment
      -Electronic controls systems
      -Facility item like ( HVAC, cooling water, electricity, ..)
      2. Engine knowledge and experience, both Mechanical engine and Electronic engine controls (Diesel preferred)
      3. Experience with project work and support of production test.
      4. Facility knowledge or experience
      5. Computer skills with MS Office, Autocad.
      
      Skills-Quality/Improvements
      
      1. Analytical approach to solving issues.
      2. Must be able to continuously improve work flow process, and test procedures and cycles to improve cycle time, cost and quality
      3. Experience/familiarity with structured problem solving/improvement tools such as six sigma, 7-step, etc.
